DETERMINATION  -  The Bible makes much of determination. Choose you this day whom you will serve. Strive to enter in at the strait gate. See that you refuse not Him that speaks. Quench not the Spirit. Escape for  your life. All this style of admonition and direction shows that the sinner has a host of obstacles between him and Heaven: and he must push his way through, or perish.

Then as we study each name of God individually and add the Scriptures for more clarification, we are strengthened by the promises and hope we have in Him. The Lord is our help in many different ways.

Our Creator, the Sovereign one, Supreme Being-governing all. He is the Eternal Being. He is all sufficient, the source of blessing, and owner, our Lord. He is the Lord who will provide, the Lord who heals, the Lord over me, my banner, my victory. He is the Lord who sanctifies, and the Lord of our peace. He is the Lord of our righteousness and our Justifier. He the Lord, our shepherd who feeds us, leads us and protects us. We end with the last name—Jehovan-Shammah—the Lord is there (with us). He is portrayed to His children in so many different ways that help to build our faith, as we read, study and hear the Word of God.
